By about the third capture party you'll get blindsided with a bliss bullet/arrow out of nowhere and the enemy NPCs won't actually spawn in until you're on the ground and about to black out.
In FarCry 4 i could sleep and set my watch to the time I wanted to play at. I just started the game on the tiny island and I wanne go to nighttime. Does FC5 have an option to rest and or check a watch what time it is ingame?
You can’t. To pass the time in Far Cry 5 I just fast travel around the map until morning. The farther you go, the quicker morning comes. You can keep an eye on the position of the moon each time you land to see about how much you need to still travel until day break.

Guess not. You can hit Escape and it will skip after the first couple of seconds. Doesn't reduce it by a lot but it does reduce the time. I haven't tried looking for the intro files and renaming them yet. This. The legal disclaimers aren't skippable but the videos are by pricing esc.

Trapped outside Dutch Bunker. So i suffered through the long ass Intro and the anoiyng chase Sequence and saved the Game when i woke up in Dutch Bunker and after his Cutscene. I started the Game 1 Hour later again to finaly play it and not watch it. But now i spawend outside of Dutch Bunker Door, which is closed without any way to open it.

Day and night are on a cycle in the game that doesn't stop, doesn't jump forwards, except for some cut scenes, and otherwise is about half an hour for day and for night, give or take
