Me too. I played up until the helicopter part. When I went back on the game, it starts a new game. It doesn't save! There's files and folders here: C:\Users\today_000\Documents\Square Enix\Just Cause 3\Saves so it should work! Win 10 as well
Aside from the wing suit and some different physics of the world, the game essentially feels like the original JC. For JC5 they just need to incorporate the things that JC3 and JC4 did right, and then build on those, so basically JC4's tether customization and destruction possibilities but with base liberation.

I just lost around 60% of story (played it in one sitting). While repetetive the game can be fun but god im not playing through literaly entire game again. I tried running both Epic and JC4 in administrator mode but it saved the game once at 13% completion but not ever again even tho save icon was shown.

Changing a format that's been successful for years is the obvious reason for that games failure. Just Cause though had been multiplayer for the last 10 years. Comparing the two makes zero sense. Just Cause 4 also has gotten horrible reviews everywhere. It's not like the series is beloved like the Fallout series is.
