In a medium pan over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage, breaking up into small pieces with a wooden spoon, until lightly browned and cooked through, 8-10 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and drain and discard the fat.
Grill the pizza: Carefully slide the pizza onto the grill grates over the direct heat zone. Close the lid and let it cook for around 5-7 minutes. Keep an eye on the pizza to avoid burning. Once the bottom of the crust turns golden brown and crispy, use your tongs or spatula to gently flip the pizza onto the indirect heat zone of the grill.
