This worked fine until today. As soon as i started up steam it started to update gta v, a 700mb update. Now i cant waste 700mb and would like to just play the game the same way i used to do so i quickly paused the update. Steam allows me to play a game without updating, but only in offline mode. And in offline mode i cant run gta v.
